Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Gadsden, Alabama

Contract | Travel | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every other weekend required | 13-Week Assignment

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure positive patient outcomes
• Document patient information and care accurately using the facility's electronic medical record system
• Adhere to facility policies, protocols, and safety standards throughout the assignment

• Active Compact or Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting

• ASAP start available with a projected start date in early August 2026
• Opportunity to gain experience in a structured Medical Surgical environment through a 13-week travel assignment
