We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) for a 13-week travel assignment with an ASAP start. This role is ideal for an RN who thrives in a fast-paced emergency setting and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries while collaborating with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the highest standards of care.

Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Assess, prioritize, and provide emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical and traumatic conditions.
Utilize the Nursing Process to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Perform rapid patient assessments and respond effectively to emergency situations.
Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency interventions as required.
Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and communicate critical findings promptly.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR.
Delegate patient care appropriately while providing guidance and supervision to support staff.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and state nursing regulations.
Maintain clinical competency through continuing education and evidence-based practice.
Active Alabama RN License (Required – No License Hits)
1–2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)
Cerner experience preferred
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
Submission must include Home Address and SSN.
Candidates submitted without the required documentation or qualifications will be rejected.
Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure emergency situations.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Flexible, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
