Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Gadsden, AL | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient information and care accurately using the facility's electronic medical record system
• Adhere to facility dress code, including Royal/Galaxy Blue scrubs

• Active Compact or Alabama RN License required — no Nur Sys hits
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting

• Immediate start available for qualified candidates — projected start date in fall 2026
• Opportunity to gain valuable travel nursing experience in a supportive acute care environment
