  • Pay or shift range: $20 USD to $22 USD

    The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Description

The Quality Assurance Supervisor shall be responsible for, but is not limited to, the following functions within the Quality Assurance Department

  • Implementation of quality Assurance Manual requirements
  • Day-to-day shift-to-shift decision making at the shop floor level
  • The participation of in-depth investigations of production problems and the ultimate follow up of corrective action(s)
  • The monitoring and reporting of all on floor Quality Assurance activities
  • The planning and maintenance of all documentation i.e.:
    Control Plans
    - Flow Charts, etc
  • The development of new Inspection techniques
  • The continual development and training of personnel

    Participation in investigation and corrective action of customer complaint

$20-22 per hour

Rotating Shifts

Skill Sets/

Experience:

  • Automotive experience with metal stamping/welding assembly is preferred
  • Work experience in performing general plant floor inspection including such functions as gauging/fixture checking, charting, reporting, tagging, training, and document control
  • Participation as a team member in corrective actions and problem-solving experience
  • Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen knowledge an asset
  • Experience with both Non-Destruct and Destructive Testing methods a plus
  • Solid organizational and communication skills needed
  • Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced automotive environment

Must be able to rotate shifts (Between 1st & 2nd shifts)
