Job Summary
Road Mechanic. Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment in the safest and most effective way possible to avoid downtime. The fleet primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment, and specialty lines such as large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas related equipment.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Diagnose and repair diesel, heavy construction, and specialty line equipment.
- Maintain safety and efficiency while working in remote and challenging locations.
- Respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist with fleet safety inspections and required documentation.
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
- 3‑5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines (generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas).
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; 21 years of age and CDL license may be required in some locations.
- Ability to use mechanic’s tools.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities.
- Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.
Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors and outdoors as required.

Base Pay Range$22.85 - $31.41 per hour, starting rate may vary based on position offered, location, education, training, and experience.
