Apparel Technical Designer

We are seeking an experienced Technical Designer to support the end-to-end development of retail apparel products, from concept through production. This role partners closely with design, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure products meet brand standards, cost targets, and delivery timelines. (No Remote Work)

• Support product development from tech pack creations to product readiness.
• Collaborate with designers, sourcing, and manufacturing partners.
• Oversee fabric selection, trims, color development, and fit approvals.
• Support timelines, costing, and production feasibility.
• Coordinate sample development, fittings, revisions, and approvals.
• Support vendor communication (domestic and overseas).
• Troubleshoot production and design issues proactively.

• 5-10+ years of apparel product development and/or design experience.
• Strong knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes.
• Experience working with factories and vendors.
• Understanding of fabric performance, construction, and garment fit.
• Proficiency with PLM systems;
  Adobe Illustrator experience preferred.
• Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills.

• Retail or private-label apparel background.
• Experience with mass‑market or specialty retail.
• Knowledge of sourcing and cost engineering.
