Helping Students Through Out School As Directed by Principal

Qualifications:

• 1. Have 60 College Credit Hours(TRANSCRIPTS ARE REQUIRED, UNOFFICIAL ACCEPTED) or
• 2. Have completed two years (60 semester hours) of college coursework from an accredited institution, or
• 3. Have passed a state-approved examination of content knowledge and pedagogy(Testing Location Ola Copeland Learning Center)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Works with small groups of students to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher.
• Assists with reading, spelling, handwriting, and math.
• Under supervision of teacher, prepares for classroom activities.
• Assists individual children in need of special attention.
• Catalogs and files instructional materials and maintains an inventory of supplies and equipment and prepares orders.
• Performs clerical duties.
• Participates in in-service training programs.
• Assists with the annual inventory of supplies, materials and equipment.
• Completes other assignments as required by supervisor.

Length of Employment: 9 Months - 192 Days

FLSA: NON EXEMPT

Salary: PARAPROFESSIONAL SALARY SCHEDULE
