Environmental representative / expert in the environmental field with full-time dedication to minimize environmental liabilities and maximize environmental performance efforts at facility.

Position offers a starting salary range of $78,000 - $100,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience. What You Drive at DTNA
  • Interface with regulatory agencies to stay compliant and inform Management of impact on new laws and action plans
  • Perform plant environmental studies involving pollutants, waste handling and health
  • Research, collect data analyze and prepare federal, state and local reports as required
  • Assist in the coordination of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste shipment from the facility
  • Promote and perform effective application of all environmental training programs
  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly inspections and follow up for hazardous waste, storm water, and general housekeeping. Assist with sampling efforts and protocols
  • Assist all management and supervisory personnel in the application of all environmental laws, regulations and programs
  • Coordinate environmental compliance inspections (air, water, RCRA, etc) with state or federal officials as needed. Assist in follow up and completion of corrective actions

  • Implement/maintain environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001
Knowledge You Should Bring
  • BS/BA and prefer 2 - 4 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
