Position Overview
MAU is hiring a Financial Controller for our client in Gaffney, SC. As a Financial Controller, you will oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, maintain internal controls, and provide financial insights to support decision-making, profitability, and growth.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Five (5) or more years of accounting or financial management experience
- Prior P&L responsibility
Education and Experience
- Experience with Quick Books or similar accounting software
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
- Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with Word and Power Point
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Deliver key financial and operational metrics to leadership
- Implement and maintain internal controls and approval authorities
- Manage accounts payable and vendor relationships
- Lead annual budgeting and operating plan development
- Analyze actual results versus budget and forecast
- Develop financial models for revenue, profitability, and cash flow
- Perform scenario and “what-if” analyses
- Conduct SKU-level costing and profitability analysis
- Evaluate capital expenditures, including ROI and payback
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and applicable regulations
- Serve as primary contact for internal and external auditors
- Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions
- Oversee financial and operational software systems
- Coordinate with outsourced IT providers to ensure system reliability and security
- Office-based role within a manufacturing environment
- Requires handling of confidential financial information
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials
- Use of required PPE such as gloves, eye protection, respirators, and hearing protection
