We are hiring a Part‑Time Caregiver in Gaffney, SC to assist a client with progressive dementia. This position starts with 10 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–6:00 PM) with opportunity for additional hours as care needs increase. If you have memory care experience and are dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working in a home with pets, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities- Dementia and memory care support
- Medication reminders
- Meal reminders
- Prompting and supervision for daily routines
- Light housekeeping
- Short 10‑minute dog walk (yard) if needed
- 1 friendly medium‑sized dog
- 1 cat (Must be comfortable with pets.)
- Experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care preferred
- Patient, calm, and compassionate
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Meet & greet required before placement
- 2 professional (work‑related) references
- Must pass background check
- Must pass drug screening
- Must be available for assigned schedule
