Cybersecurity, Systems Engineer
Our enterprise-level client is seeking to add a System Engineer to the team in two locations:
Gaffney, SC and Gastonia, NC. Please see below for full details-
- 6-month contract / extensions and perm conversion are possible with good performance, but not guaranteed.
- Drug & Background required.
- Must be able to work in both locations:
Gaffney, SC 29341 & Gastonia, NC 28052
Pay Rate = $40-42 w2 per hour plus benefits
Responsibilities:- Install and configure routing and switching devices following change control process
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve network related issues
- Monitor network performance proactively
- Verify and update network documentation
- Ensure network related policies and best practices are followed
- Engage with manufacturing areas to identify network requirements
- Understand security best practices and offer solutions to the stakeholders
- Test and upgrade network equipment to most recent stable version
- Liaison between IT/OT departments
- Gather communication requirements and translate to Firewall rule requests
Closely working on network Information Security topics such as:
Qualifications:- CCNA certification or similar
- Deep understanding of the OSI model or TCP/IP stack
- Proven hands-on experience with Cisco gear (1+ years)
- Information Security knowledge
- OT/ICS knowledge (desired)
