Logistics Associate – BMW Plant Spartanburg
Location:
Greer, SC (BMW Manufacturing Plant Spartanburg)
I.K. Hofmann USA is hiring Logistics Associates to support operations at the BMW plant in Greer, SC. The role involves driving small industrial vehicles, managing parts flow, and ensuring timely delivery of components to the production line.

- Day Shift: 6:45 am–5:25 pm (varies 6:45–7:00 am to 5:25–5:40 pm)
- Night Shift: 7:15 pm–5:55 am (varies 7:15–7:30 pm to 5:55–6:10 am)
- Shift schedule depends on location
- Training: 5 shifts of 8 hours per day for 1–2 weeks
- After training: 4 shifts of 10 hours per day each week
- Operate small industrial vehicles: stand‑up forklift, sit‑down forklift, VNA forklift, cherry picker, tugger, reach truck, small box truck, or pallet jack as needed.
- Assist in the management and distribution of goods within BMW’s logistics system.
- Move and transport parts and pallets from incoming trucks, stacking them in assigned locations, including racks up to 30 ft. high.
- Use a cherry picker or reach truck to move and transport large items on warehouse shelves.
- Scan, pick, sequence, inspect, transport, and move parts within the plant to ensure the production line has the correct parts in a timely manner.
- Perform general warehouse duties as necessary.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment while demonstrating problem‑solving and multitasking skills.
- Maintain a stationary position throughout shifts.
- Shift between upright and low stances as required.
- Reach overhead to perform job functions.
- Operate machinery safely.
- Move and transport up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Minimum 6 months of forklift experience.
- Experience using RFID inventory scanners.
- Stockroom, warehouse, shipping and receiving, or inventory experience (preferred).
- Experience using SAP (preferred).
- High school diploma or GED.
