Financial Analyst

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

This is a great opportunity for an analytically-minded finance professional to contribute meaningful insight into business performance, in a hybrid role based in Gahanna, OH.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis comparing actual results to budget/forecast
• Support the preparation of management reporting packages and executive presentations
• Partner with department leaders to gather data and provide financial insight for decision-making
• Assist with the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and data accuracy
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 2+ years of financial analysis experience
• Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
• Experience with financial reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings clearly
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a hybrid work environment
