Duties
* You will compile statistical data for management briefings to senior management regarding the processing of enlisted applicants.
* You will assign work, set priorities, relay plans, and evaluate the work performance of subordinates.
* You will assist and advise management on civilian personnel practices and programs, as well as track and review data for the distribution of the workload among military and civilian personnel.
* You will prepare reports and/or briefings to inform management of analysis results for use in the decision-making process or to determine the status of in-progress status information. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR . Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Supervising or leading personnel in a high-volume, deadline-driven processing environment to include: assigning work, monitoring performance, and enforcing processes and standards;
2) Managing the end-to-end processing workflow for personnel records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance;
3) Applying and interpreting personnel and recruitment policies, instructions, and regulations to resolve unusual or complex processing issues;
3) Conducting formal quality checks on personnel records to identify and correct deficiencies or trends to improve process quality. Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: A master's or equivalent graduate degree;
or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
