3:00 pm to 11:30 pm

Janitor

The primary function of the Janitor position is to maintain a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks.

• Perform cleaning throughout the plant, including office areas, breakrooms, and multiple bathrooms.
• Ensure cleanliness of all employee restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and offices as designated by management.
• Perform basic trash removal from outside areas of the building, including patio area, smoking area, and all common areas surrounding the facility.
• Clean floors, fixtures and walls using standard cleaning supplies as needed to maintain neat appearance.
• Remove trash from offices, locker rooms, outside break-room areas and washing areas, and place in proper disposal containers.
• Sanitize line and equipment at each line break and maintain good condition and appearance of the building.
• Ensure towel and soap dispensers are refilled at all times.
• Notify lead when reordering of supplies is needed.
• Maintain a clean appearance in the offices and clean windows.

• Prior experience cleaning in a food manufacturing or hospital setting.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Proven ability to react to business needs and work independently.
• Must be able to maintain high cleanliness standards (this is a food manufacturing facility).
• Ability to use all janitorial equipment and dispense chemicals after training.
• Two to four years prior experience in a janitorial position.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
