Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Job Description

Public Storage is the self-storage industry leader and we are hiring now.

Earn $14.50 Per Hour

• Flexible and full‑time schedules between 9:30 am and 6 pm (weekends until 5 pm)

• Work independently at multiple locations, spending time inside and outside
• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
• Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces ready to rent
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily business
• Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required

• Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Walk in/around facilities spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds, curb appeal, and keeping debris free

• Experience: Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service‑centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service‑based companies.
• Transportation: Employees must have a valid driver’s license and use their own vehicle to travel between work locations or conduct other work‑related business. Mileage reimbursement is available.
