Overview
Suburban Steel Supply, a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) structural and ornamental steel fabricator in Gahanna, Ohio, is hiring a Plenum Assembler. The role builds, fastens, and finishes custom, large-scale ductwork and enclosure components (plenums) used in industrial ventilation.
Responsibilities- Interpret blueprints and shop drawings to assemble plenums and related components.
- Operate heavy-duty power tools safely and effectively.
- Ensure metal parts fit securely to meet strict quality standards.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Availability to work consistent overtime as needed.
