The HVAC Helper assists onsite personnel with the installation of HVAC and electrical equipment, cleanup, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
Position Responsibilities- Unload material/equipment and place it near the staging or installation area.
- Maintain good housekeeping on site.
- Work in confined spaces such as attics, basements, roofs, and crawl spaces.
- Work in areas involving heights.
- Assist the installer with placing and securing trunk, return lines, branch, and take‑off lines.
- Assist electricians with installation of conduit (EMT/Rigid/PVC), Romex, MC cable, pulling wire, lighting, and lighting controls.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Experience in new construction (preferred).
- Adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting.
- Pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
- Work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold, and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
