PositionSummary
The HVAC Field Superintendent (Traveling) will oversee all phases of the installation of HVAC systems in new construction sites within multiple communities.

- Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm. Must be willing to be flexible as jobs may change.
- Develops a schedule to meet production demands and successful completion of inspections in assigned communities.
- Read, understand, and execute HVAC equipment installation instructions, duct layouts, shop drawings, and plans.
- Collaborate with general contractors/builders, inspectors, and project managers to ensure successful completion of units in assigned communities.
- Coordinate and schedule the work activities of PCIs and company installation crews to deliver instructions and work assignments as appropriate.
- Forecast to ensure all sites have all material and equipment needed on the job site.
- Regularly inspect work for quality, completeness, and timeliness; prepare and provide progress reports for general contractors/builders, internal management teams, and make recommendations for necessary corrections.
- Perform punch work to help move units to inspection.
- Collaborate with general contractors/builders, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure specifications, code, and zoning requirements are met.
- Ensure correct equipment locations, duct layouts and duct sizing are followed, and refrigerant line sets are installed properly in the locations specified by the general contractor/builder.
- Coordinate EPO work requests and quoted charges with the admin team for approval prior to completing work.
- Balance work between communities to ensure all general contractors/builders and schedules are being met and inspections are called in a timely manner.
- Address any safety violations or other deficiencies and issue safety violations as needed.
- Ensure job site remains clean of excess material and debris.
- Walk job sites daily to ensure progress is being met as scheduled.
- Maintain knowledge of the national code and state‑specific codes/amendments and understand how they are applied in projects in the surrounding areas.
- Provide learning and development opportunities through coaching, managing performance, and mentoring.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 3+ years HVAC supervisory experience (Installation or Service).
- High School diploma or GED.
- Thorough understanding of HVAC installation and industry best practices.
- Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting.
- Must be able to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold, and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
