Licensed Master Electrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Master Electrician to lead electrical projects across diverse construction and renovation sites. In this vital role, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring all work complies with national and local electrical codes, including NFPA 70 and the NEC (National Electrical Code). Your expertise will drive safety, efficiency, and quality in every project, from blueprint interpretation to final system testing.

As a licensed master electrician, you will manage teams of electricians, coordinate with project managers, and ensure all electrical work meets rigorous standards for safety and building code compliance. Duties

• Lead the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial and commercial electrical systems on construction sites and renovation projects.
• Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, electrical schematics reading, and blueprint review for electrical drafting to ensure precise implementation of designs.
• Conduct detailed electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
• Manage teams of electricians by assigning tasks, overseeing work quality, enforcing safety procedures, and ensuring adherence to electrical safety procedures.
• Install low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high voltage equipment, and other industrial electrical components following strict safety protocols.
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, NEC standards, NFPA 70 regulations, and local electrical codes throughout every phase of construction or renovation.
• Review electrical blueprints and schematics thoroughly before beginning work to confirm accuracy and feasibility; update plans as needed during project execution.

Skills

• Extensive experience working as an electrician in industrial and commercial environments with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems.
• Proven ability to interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings for accurate installation and troubleshooting.
• Deep knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, building code compliance, and low/high voltage system requirements.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
• Experience managing teams of electricians on large-scale construction or renovation projects with a focus on safety and quality control.
• Strong understanding of electrical diagnostics techniques for identifying faults within industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical schematics accurately while reviewing blueprints for electrical drafting purposes; detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
