Job DescriptionOperations:
- Reconcile payroll accounts
- Review payroll journal entries for compliance with regulations
- Process journal entries to move funds to correct chart fields
- Run, analyze, review, and follow up on results of various queries of payroll accounts data to provide timely corrections as needed and ensure accuracy
Communications and Customer Service:
- Manage daily interactions with departments regarding their questions and requests for guidance on payroll cost allocations
- Collaborate frequently with partners from other core offices
- Maintain collaborative relationships with campus by providing clear guidance and instruction via email or Teams
- Proactively analyze current processes, recommend solutions to leadership, and support implementation
Special Projects:
- Other duties as assigned by the department leadership
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 2+ years of payroll accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with accounting software
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and business‑reporting abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team
- Proficient in Excel
