Position OverviewWe’re searching for an Audit Supervisor to join our Accounting & Auditing team in our Gainesville office. The role is responsible for all facets of client engagements, supervising staff, and directing the day‑to‑day progress of engagements. It requires a combination of technical accounting expertise, leadership skills, and client relationship management. The Supervisor will possess a thorough knowledge of the firm’s policies and procedures and serve as a liaison between clients and the firm.
Responsibilities include maintaining high‑quality service delivery, fostering client satisfaction, developing employees under supervision, and driving business growth opportunities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting.
- 3+ years of experience in auditing and accounting.
- Basic proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Intermediate knowledge of accounting software systems.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Master’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant.
- 1+ years in a supervisory position.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting.
- Prior experience in CCH ProFX Engagement.
- Prior experience in public accounting or another professional services organization.
- Apply appropriate accounting knowledge on work papers and assignments to ensure accurate, reliable data for clients.
- Utilize accounting software to manage client data, tasks, and documentation.
- Connect with supervisors on current and future jobs to determine team and client needs.
- Train and delegate sections of the workpaper to employees while ensuring standards are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding accounting‑related inquiries, issues, and recommendations.
- Develop expertise in industries and service lines to grow specialized knowledge.
- Verify accuracy of client‑submitted data, identify discrepancies, and communicate clarifications or escalations.
- Perform technical quality control review of work papers and engagement items.
- Participate in recruiting events as a department representative to provide candidates with career opportunity information.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards, staying abreast of industry updates.
- Collaborate across departments and work with cross‑functional teams to execute goals.
