STAS Front Desk Receptionist

High school diploma or equivalent. Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule. Current enrollment as an undergrad student in good academic standing.

Responsibilities
  • Serves as the primary point of contact at the CISE administrative front desk by answering phones, greeting visitors, and responding to general inquiries from students, faculty, and staff.
  • Maintains front desk operations, including phone management, message handling, mail and package distribution, and upkeep of a clean and organized reception area.
  • Provides administrative and logistical support to the department by assisting with event setup, creating flyers, maintaining conference rooms, managing office supplies, and supporting faculty and staff with office equipment.
  • Ensures accurate directory and mail slot updates, tracks and restocks supplies, and assists with departmental asset scanning as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
  • Current enrollment as an undergrad student in good academic standing.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency with basic office technology, including phones, printers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with administrative staff.
