DESCRIPTION:
Join our team at the Alachua County Clerk of the Circuit Court as a Staff Assistant. SUMMARY:
Multiple positions are included under this umbrella and responsibilities may vary. Examples of responsibilities include:
- Perform administrative and clerical duties in or out of court
- Create and process new cases in our case management system
- Maintain case files to ensure accuracy of information
- Deliver courteous customer service via phone, email, or in person
- Receipt payments
- Process record requests
- Work with confidential and/or sensitive data
- Maintain professional working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, government officials, judges, and the general public.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School graduate or possession of an acceptable equivalent diploma required. Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university or recent professional experience is preferred. Must have attention to detail and the skill to produce accurate, time-sensitive work; proficiency in basic computer operations in a Microsoft Windows environment; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to handle confidential and/or sensitive information;
dependability; critical thinking skills; and adaptability.
