Position

Community Assistant – (internal promotion). The Community Assistant is primarily responsible for providing high‑quality customer service to current and future residents and offering administrative support to office staff. This part‑time role works no more than 29.5 hours per week on a variable schedule and requires rotating nights and weekends based on property needs. Compensation is $15.00 per hour plus bonus potential.

Property

Quarters Gainesville: a unique housing community consisting of 251 units and 920 beds, designed with University of Florida students in mind.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, officials, and community members.
  • Assist with marketing efforts on campus and in the community, including customer appreciation events and other special events.
  • Respond to leasing inquiries by scheduling appointments, conducting tours, maintaining show units, and following up with potential residents.
  • Assist with annual unit turnover and execute move‑in/move‑out procedures.
  • Complete administrative and front‑desk tasks.
  • Ensure accurate file documentation and collect required fees in accordance with company policy.
  • Seek feedback from residents and communicate it to the team.
  • Respond to after‑hour emergency issues as needed.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Property Manager.
Requirements
  • Preferably live onsite and be currently enrolled at a university.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, growing environment.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Self‑motivated and able to excel in a team environment.
  • Positive and innovative problem‑solving approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
