Job DescriptionThis position is located in the Department of Physical Therapy within the College of Public Health and Health Professions and serves the Brooks-UF PHHP Research Collaboration. The mission of this research collaboration is to advance high-quality rehabilitation research to improve clinical care and outcomes. Primary responsibilities include providing administrative support, assisting with marketing and communications initiatives, and coordinating event and activities for the Brooks-UF PHHP Research Collaboration.
AdministrativeAssistance
- Provide administrative support to the Brooks-UF PHHP Research Collaboration
- Create meeting agendas and transcribe meeting minutes
- Assist with additional administrative responsibilities as needed
- Update and maintain website design and content, implement requested changes, and maximize website optimization.
- Develop engaging content, such as newsletters and multimedia assets for events
- Design and update graphic materials for events, programs, and marketing initiatives
- Coordinate event logistics, including room reservations, calendar invitations, agendas, attendance tracking, and catering requests. Responsibilities may require occasional evening or weekend work and travel to Jacksonville, FL.
- Adhere to university and state fiscal policies and procedures (e.g., alcohol policies, facilities requirements, etc.)
Expected Salary: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour; commensurate with education and experience
Required QualificationsAssociate's degree in a relevant field or two years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of work and education.
Preferred- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to anticipate needs, problem-solve efficiently, and adapt in fast-paced environments
