Job DescriptionCustomer Service
Activities:
- Manage daily front desk operations, including answering and returning calls
- Schedule patient appointments and obtain prior dental records as needed
- Create or update patient electronic health records in axiUm
- Confirm patient appointments
- Process referrals, including scanning, logging, and scheduling
- Handle post‑op documentation, including collecting notes from providers, scanning into patient charts, and submitting to referring offices
Administrative And Academic Support Activities
- Provide basic technical troubleshooting and submit IT requests for faculty and staff
- Notify faculty and staff of outstanding required trainings
- Coordinate luncheons (catering orders and room reservations)
- Manage donations
- Manage equipment warranties and repair submissions
- Coordinate shadowing and externship opportunities
- Confirm scheduled courtesy faculty participation
- Work with faculty to maintain and update calendars with course lectures
- Manage course grading processes (exporting from Exam Soft to Canvas, updating assignments, submitting final grades)
- Attend Canvas course‑building meetings with course directors
- Assist with predoctoral course or clinic‑related issues as needed

Expected Salary$18.00 - $20.00/hr

Required QualificationsHigh school diploma and one year of appropriate experience.
Preferred- Experience working in a healthcare or educational setting; including front desk/reception
- Attention to detail
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with others
- Effective oral and written communication
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to plan, organize, and perform work assignments in a timely manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
