Job DescriptionThe Division of Graduate Studies in the College of Journalism and Communications is seeking a motivated student assistant to provide administrative office support and assist with graphic design and social media initiatives. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ideal candidate is available to work 15-20 hours per week. Job duties will include:
- Graphic design projects such as promotional materials, flyers, forms, etc.
- Creating and posting social media content
- Administrative support such as answering phones, data entry, scanning, copying, etc.
- Assist in preparation and hosting of meetings, conferences, and events
- Other duties as assigned
$14.00 per hour
Required QualificationsMust be a current student in good standing as of Fall 2026. Must NOT be on graduate assistantship.
Preferred- Experience with Microsoft Suite, Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.), Canva, etc.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Excellent customer service skills
