Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose transmission issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
Perform repairs and rebuilds on both automatic and manual transmissions to manufacturer specifications.
Program and calibrate transmission control modules as required.
Conduct thorough inspections to ensure the reliability and safety of transmission systems.
Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to provide accurate assessments and timelines for repairs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited trade school program in automotive technology or a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in automotive transmission repair.
Proven expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding both automatic and manual transmissions.
Proficiency with transmission diagnostic and programming tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
