Overview
Bolt Auto Care is looking for a motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working on vehicles, has a strong mechanical mindset, and wants to grow in the automotive repair industry.
This role is ideal for an entry-level technician, apprentice technician, lube technician, tire technician, or someone who has been working in the field for a short time and is ready to build a long-term career.
What You’ll Do- Perform vehicle maintenance, inspections, and light repair work while learning and growing with our team.
- Perform oil changes, fluid services, filters, bulbs, batteries, tire rotations, and other basic maintenance services
- Assist with tire repair, tire replacement, balancing, and related services
- Complete vehicle inspections and document findings clearly
- Identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and visible vehicle issues
- Assist experienced technicians with repairs and diagnostics when needed
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Follow shop procedures, safety standards, and service processes
- Use basic tools and equipment properly
- Communicate clearly with service advisors, technicians, and management
- Learn proper repair procedures, inspection habits, and diagnostic basics
- Work as part of a team to help provide a great customer experience
- A strong interest in cars, trucks, maintenance, and repair
- A good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliability, honesty, and a positive attitude
- Basic mechanical ability or prior hands-on experience
- The ability to follow instructions and complete work carefully
- The ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
- A team-first mindset
- A valid driver’s license
- Previous automotive experience is helpful, but not required for the right person. Experience as a lube technician, tire technician, apprentice technician, shop helper, student technician, or junior technician is a plus.
