Group Sales Manager
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Group Sales Manager to drive group business at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center, managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality.
Responsibilities- Drive group sales by proactively reaching out to new and past clients to generate group and event business.
- Respond to inquiries quickly and guide clients through the booking process.
- Build lasting relationships that encourage repeat business.
- Support events from start to finish: gather all key event details, communicate them clearly to internal teams, and ensure each group’s experience is smooth, organized, and successful.
- Keep client files and records accurate and up-to-date.
- Use data to find opportunities: review reports and trends to identify where business is coming from and where it could grow, identify slow periods, and develop ideas to increase bookings.
- Track group performance and spending to support smarter decisions.
- Keep systems running smoothly: manage and maintain our sales system (Delphi.fdc), provide support and training to the team as needed, and look for ways to improve processes.
- Support marketing efforts: help with social media and online engagement to promote the hotel, monitor reviews, respond when appropriate, and stay aware of competitors.
- Previous experience in hotel sales or a related field is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with clients and collaborating with a team.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with data and using it to make decisions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with Delphi or similar systems is helpful.
- Self‑starter with a positive, outgoing attitude.
