Associate Director of Strategic Engagement

University of Florida is hiring an Associate Director of Strategic Engagement. This role leads alumni engagement strategies, plans major college events, and strengthens philanthropic relationships for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Office of Advancement. The position coordinates multiple complex projects, manages event logistics, and drives initiatives aligned with advancement goals.

• Develop and implement alumni engagement strategies to increase involvement and support.
• Plan and manage a variety of advancement and college events, including recognition ceremonies and receptions.
• Utilize CRM to maintain and analyze alumni/donor participation data to optimize engagement efforts.
• Coordinate event logistics such as staffing, budgeting, venue, catering, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with campus departments, external vendors, and leadership to execute events and programs.
• Required qualifications:
  
  Master's degree with 1 year experience or Bachelor's degree with 3 years experience in alumni relations or related field.
• Preferred skills: event planning in academic settings, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to independently manage multiple projects, proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor databases.
• Compensation range: $75,000 - $84,500 annually.
• Must have a valid driver's license, willingness to travel, and the ability to physically set up events.
