CEI Senior Inspector & Inspector

Overview

We are currently searching for experienced Senior level and entry level CEI Inspectors to support our Southeast Region located in the state of Florida
.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Making and checking engineering computations
• Inspecting construction work
• Conducting field tests
• Writes daily inspection reports, performs verification testing, and documents test results and observations
• Assists in all types of record keeping and field measurements, as needed
• Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years of experience in construction inspection, one (1) year of which shall have been in bridge and/or roadway construction
  OR
• Engineer Intern with a Civil Engineering Degree
• The qualified candidate should possess or have the ability to earn following required qualifications and certifications within one year (qualifications/certifications are provided by Volkert) FDOT certifications
• Must have a valid driver’s license and immediate ability to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana, Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines. Valid driver's license.
• A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
• If applicable to the position, a post offer fit for duty evaluation to ensure the individual can safely perform the essential functions of the role.
