Superintendent, Construction

A construction management firm is seeking an experienced Superintendent to support multiple higher‑education projects in Gainesville, FL. This role will lead field execution within active university environments, requiring strong trade coordination and experience managing construction in occupied facilities.

The Superintendent will initially oversee an $8MM expansion project focused on office collaboration and teaching space as the sole on-site field lead. The role will then transition to a $50MM Music School project
, including a new performance hall and renovation of existing facilities, working alongside two additional Superintendents.

• Manage subcontractors, schedules, site logistics, and trade sequencing
• Coordinate across multiple trades, including mechanical and electrical
• Enforce safety, quality control, and site compliance standards
• Communicate with project teams, inspectors, and campus stakeholders
• Manage construction activities to minimize disruption in occupied spaces

• 6–10 years of commercial construction experience
• Strong understanding of multiple trade disciplines
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent transferable construction project experience

• Hospital or healthcare construction experience
• Experience working in occupied or operational facilities
