NHRA continues to race forward with a number of key initiatives, including a multiyear partnership with FOX Sports to televise NHRA events from the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, and the Pro Mod Drag Racing Series. FOX Sports networks aired more than 500 hours of programming throughout the year, highlighted by 20+ race‑day shows, including eight on FOX’s national network, in addition to qualifying broadcasts throughout the weekend.

We seek personnel to assist with selling and scanning tickets on‑site at race events during the season. As a member of the Ticketing/Gate Staff Team, you will be an essential part of the guest experience. In this role, you will wear many different hats and have the potential to work in several different areas within Gainesville Raceway. You will have the opportunity to assist our guests by handling cash and processing credit card transactions, checking coolers, directing traffic and/or parking of vehicles, hand‑stamping guests, and answering guest questions.
Working with waivers to ensure all necessary guests (racers, crew, pit visitors) sign the appropriate documentation, as required. Your job will be to keep our fans safe and informed while still maintaining a fun and friendly atmosphere. This entails weekday, evenings, and weekend work which can include long and irregular hours outside in potentially extreme weather, and in a fast‑paced environment.
- Sell and scan tickets on‑site at race events during the season (January–November)
- Handle cash and process credit card transactions
- Check coolers and direct parking of vehicles
- Hand‑stamp guests and answer guest questions
Skills and Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be flexible with meal periods.
- Requires the ability to work on a computer, communicate well with customers in a friendly manner, sit, stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
- Accurately dispenses tickets as requested by guests; accepts payment and makes change accurately.
- Must arrive on time and ready to work at shift start.
- Enforce all facility policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
- Must be able to work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Ability to follow and understand verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, racers, crew members, and guests.
