Non-Profit organization in Gainesville is currently seeking a full-time Eligibility Screener for their Elderly Services call center. Position can work 2 days per week remote with 3 days in the office, or the position can work full-time 5 days a week in the office, depending upon the preference of the Screener after training and probationary period is completed. Job duties include but are not limited to: screening applicants over the phone for government program qualification, preparing and mailing documents, providing excellent customer service while assisting clients, following up with clients throughout the process, and researching and recommending services to seniors.

Candidates will be subject to a level 2 federal background screening and drug testing. Position pays $18/hr and works 40 hours per week M-F, 8am - 5pm. Non-profit offers a comprehensive benefits package after permanent hire.

Required Skills:

Strong spoken and written communication skills, computer savvy (proficient in word/excel, typing, 40 + wpm), strong customer service skills.

Required Experience:

4 or more years' experience in health related call center and customer service focused role such as medical front desk, 4 years of education or experience (or a combination) in a human services, social services or healthcare related field. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required. Qualified candidates should email their resume and references for consideration.
