Clinical Assistant Professor, Periodontology

CLIN AST PROF

The University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD) is recruiting a full-time, non-tenure accruing Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology. Responsibilities for this position will center on pre-doctoral and graduate level didactic, pre-clinical and clinical instruction, participation in intramural faculty practice, and include opportunities for research collaboration.

Minimum requirements include:

• DDS, DMD or equivalent degree.
• Advanced training in Periodontology from a CODA-accredited postgraduate program.
• Training in oral implantology, advanced surgical techniques.
• Training and certification (or eligible for certification) in conscious sedation (intra-venous).

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous teaching experience of predoctoral and/or advanced education in periodontology.
• Board certification.

Salary and rank are commensurate with education and experience.

Degrees earned from an education institution outside of the United States are required to be evaluated by a professional credentialing service provider approved by National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
