The University of Florida, Department of Emergency Medicine, is seeking exceptional board-certified or board-eligible physicians in Emergency Medicine to become an integral part of our esteemed department. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge healthcare and medical excellence within a dynamic academic environment. The Department is an independent academic department within the College of Medicine, with substantial infrastructure and resources dedicated to research and education.
We aim to train medical students, residents, and fellows to become educators, researchers, and leaders in emergency medicine.
The successful candidate will join our growing Department in a non-tenure accruing position at the rank of Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The appointment is with the University of Florida and becomes part of a large team comprising over 50 full-time EM faculty, 13 fellows, 42 residents, and more than 200 members, supporting the expansion of clinical services in the community and across the state.
The UF Department of Emergency Medicine maintains an affiliation with UF Health Shands Hospital, a 1,162-bed teaching facility with a Level 1 trauma center and burn center. This affiliation supports our commitment to top-tier medical care and innovation.

Expected Salary:
Salary is negotiable and commensurate with education and experience.
Minimum Requirements:
All physicians must be ABEM/ABOEM Board Certified/Board-Eligible.
Preferred Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
