Job DescriptionThe general responsibilities of faculty members at the Downtown campus are patient care and resident and medical student education. Major responsibilities of the position include providing care to outpatients and hospitalized patients with various OB/GYN related conditions, illnesses, or diseases; coordinating perioperative care with the hospital and OB/GYN providers; ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, lab work, and imaging as appropriate; coordinating care for patients while admitted;
and teaching (both clinical and didactic) and clinical supervision of Ob‑Gyn residents and medical students. All candidates should be dedicated to providing high quality patient care and exemplary teaching. The position offers excellent benefits including generous maternity and paternity leave as well as sovereign immunity. The position qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
