The University of Florida College of Medicine-Gainesville, is seeking applicants for a Sleep Medical Director within the Department of Medicine. This is a 1.0 FTE position reporting to the chief of the division. Responsibilities include overseeing clinical care delivered by faculty within the Sleep program, promoting investigator-initiated scholarship, and engaging in training of house staff and students. Substantial commitments of space and resources will be available for the successful candidate to expand Divisional activities.
Appointment will be at the tenure or non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, based on qualifications.
The division has a collaborative relationship with UF Health Shands Hospital and we pride ourselves in professional and cooperative interdisciplinary care. The Department of Medicine is a national leader in cancer, cardiology, gastroenterology, kidney disorders, and pulmonology.
