Job Description:
The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Florida is seeking an Assistant/Associate /Professor to become an active and integral member of the Division.
Responsibilities will include electrophysiology cardiology services at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida. Clinical duties will include performance and teaching in electrophysiology cardiology procedures, Electrophysiology inpatient services, as well as outpatient clinic duties at the University clinics. Opportunities are also available for participation in the general cardiology consultation service as well as periodic rotation on the general cardiology teaching service
Salary is negotiable, commensurate with education and experience.
Applicants must have a medical degree and Florida Medical License.
Preferred Qualifications:
Applicants must have an MD degree and board certification in Electrophysiology. Will consider candidates with a variety of experience levels and who have an interest in basic or clinical research. Candidates must be U.S. or naturalized citizens and be proficient in spoken and written English.
Final candidate will be required to provide official transcript to the hiring department upon hire. A transcript will not be considered "official" if a designation of "Issued to Student" is visible. Degrees earned from an education institution outside of the United States are required to be evaluated by a professional credentialing service provider approved by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), which can be found at http://www.naces.org/.
