Healthcare United is seeking a Physician Assistant, Orthopedic Spine for an established and growing orthopedic practice in the Gainesville, Florida area. This opportunity offers a strong team environment, consistent surgical volume, and the chance to work closely with experienced Orthopedic Spine Surgeons in a physician owned setting.
This Physician Assistant opportunity is ideal for a motivated provider seeking a balanced role with strong clinical infrastructure, excellent support staff and a collaborative practice culture. The Physician Assistant will play an important role in the management of preoperative and postoperative orthopedic patients, helping support continuity of care throughout the surgical process.
- Manage preoperative and postoperative orthopedic patients under the direction of Orthopedic Spine Surgeons
- Assist in coordinating and supporting patient care throughout the surgical process
- Work closely with surgeons and clinical staff in a team oriented orthopedic practice setting
- Participate in a practice with surgery scheduled approximately 3 to 4 days per week

- Certified Physician Assistant
- Experience or strong interest in Orthopedic Trauma and Spine preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced surgical and clinical environment
