As a faculty member, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of anesthesiology through education, research, and groundbreaking discoveries.

• 6 intensive care units
• These ICUs provide extensive training for our students, residents, physician assistants, and fellows.
• Growing academic practice
• Busy mechanical circulatory support (MCS) and extracorporeal life support (ECLS) programs
• Strong fellowship program
• Provide care to some of the most acutely ill patients in the U.S. with high demand for ECLS and MCS
• Work side by side with 90+ faculty anesthesiologists, 9 active research faculty, 88 residents, 25 fellows, 75 CRNA/AAs, 40+ dedicated support and administrative staff team
• Together, we foster an environment that encourages innovation and collaboration

Your clinical skills and expertise will play a pivotal role in providing patient care at UF Health's premier facilities, including:

• UF Health Shands Hospital
• UF Health Heart & Vascular Hospital
• UF Health Shands Cancer Center Hospital

Our coverage includes 6 ICUs comprised of a total of 140+ beds

• Cardiovascular ICU
• Surgical ICU
• Burn ICU
• Thoracic ICU
• Trauma ICU
• Vascular ICU

• M.D./D.O. or equivalent
• Skills in clinical care, research, and/or education
• Anesthesiology residency completion
• Critical Care fellowship completion
• ABA certification/eligibility
• Credentials to obtain a State of Florida physician's license
