One Stop Coordinator I

The University of Florida's Division of Enrollment Management is actively searching for a service-oriented individual to join our team as a One Stop Advisor. This unique role plays an important part in our collaborative effort between the offices of the University Registrar, Admissions, Student Financial Aid and Scholarships, and the University Bursar.

The One Stop Enrollment Services unit is a high-volume, fast-paced service area that delivers enrollment services and support to enrolled students across all levels. Our team provides centralized and integrated student-centric enrollment services through virtual, self-service, and in-person modalities, contributing to the simplification and enhancement of access to UF's comprehensive suite of enrollment services.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Key Responsibilities Student Services & Case Management
  • Serve as the front line for admissions, registration, records, financial aid, scholarships, and billing via phone, in person, email, and Gator
    360.
  • Clearly explain UF academic programs, systems, and applicable federal, state, and university rules and procedures.
  • Handle high-volume routine requests, tracking and documenting all contacts in the case management system.
  • Research issues across multiple student records systems; interpret policies and coordinate with core offices to resolve complex cases.
Team Support & Training
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to One Stop student assistants, and second-tier support for complex cases they elevate.
  • Coach and train student assistants on systems, policies, and service standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training.
Other Duties
  • Contribute to process improvements and special projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by area leadership.
Expected Salary

$43,888 annually

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with financial aid, registrar, admissions, billing, or other student enrollment or academic support services through internships, work-study, volunteer roles, or coursework.
  • Interest in learning rules and regulations related to student academic and enrollment processes, including policies and procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy when working with sensitive or challenging information and situations.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and explain information in a helpful way.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with student records systems such as People Soft, Gator
    360, or similar platform.
