The Department of PSYCHOLOGY at the UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Social Psychology. This position is open to all sub-areas in Social Psychology including, but not limited to, attitudes and social cognition, intergroup relations and group processes, interpersonal and close relationships, emotion, motivation, self and identity, health and well-being, cultural and political psychology, and personality processes.

The Department of Psychology values interdisciplinary approaches to research and training, and strongly encourages collaboration across its five programs (behavior analysis, behavioral and cognitive neuroscience, counseling, social, and developmental psychology). Applicants will be expected to (1) maintain an outstanding program of research with high potential for external funding based on open-science principles, (2) teach psychology graduate and undergraduate courses, (3) mentor students, and (4) provide service to the institution.
