Job Description- Maintain a strong sponsored research program: actively pursue and manage externally funded research projects (grants, contracts, etc.) and ensure continuous productivity in research activities.
- Supervise graduate students: oversee the work of graduate students, providing mentorship, guidance on research, and potentially serving as their thesis/dissertation advisor.
- Collaborate with other faculty in and outside the department: encourage interdisciplinary research and initiatives.
- Involvement in service to the university and the profession: participate in committees, review academic papers, organize conferences, and contribute to the academic community within the university and in the broader field.
Commensurate With Experience
Minimum RequirementsPh.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D.
Preferred Qualifications- Ph.D. and/or M.D. in Biomedical Sciences or a related biomedical field.
- Outstanding record of research accomplishments, a strong interest in graduate education, and a commitment to professional service.
