The Department of Public Relations at the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications invites applications for a nine- or twelve-month appointment at the lecturer or senior lecturer level. The position will begin either July (for twelve-month) or August (for nine-month) 2026.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in public relations. The faculty member may teach and supervise graduate students. Candidates will mentor undergraduate and graduate students, engage in governance and other service activities, and demonstrate interest in contributing to online education, community, and the internationalization of the college and university. Candidates are typically expected to teach three courses or the equivalent per semester (and one in the summer if on twelve-month appointment) in addition to performing service duties.
