Part‑time contract job or paid internship.
Compensation$50–$85 per single class shift, additional for multi‑class shifts (2.5–5 hour shifts).
DUTIES- Pick up equipment from local facility and travel to assigned school.
- Show up on time.
- Set up laptops and related equipment for 8‑12 children.
- Teach Minecraft Programming, Game Design, Animation, and/or Lego Robotics classes.
- Ensure students safely leave with appropriate parents or staff.
- Familiar with video and/or computer games.
- Enjoy working with and teaching kids between 5 and 14 years of age.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Can work well independently.
- Must be able to pass a criminal and sex‑offender background check.
- Experience with basic programming, Minecraft, Lego Robotics, or 3D modeling software (not required).
- Child‑care, teaching, and/or tutoring experience (not required).
Teach technology classes at schools in one or more of the following counties/cities:
Loudoun, Fairfax, Prince William, Montgomery, Howard, Frederick, or Washington, DC.
All locations require availability on, at a minimum, two days per week. Preference for candidates who can work three or more days per week.
Shift times vary by location. For example:
Fairfax: 1:30‑5:30 pm;
Prince William: 1:00‑5:00 pm;
Saturday classes: 8:15‑11:00 am or 9:45‑12:00 pm (US EST);
Montgomery: 2:45‑6:45 pm;
Howard: 1:30‑5:30 pm; DC: 2‑6 pm. Training starts in August 2026.
Must have own vehicle to transport company laptops and related equipment.
Eligible to work in the United States.
BenefitsPaid training available in the first month of each season. This is a paid internship or part‑time seasonal contract position.
