Position OverviewThe Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology at the University of Florida (UF) College of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track position at the ranks of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Virology. Our faculty includes some of the brightest and most innovative scholars spanning the virology and genetics disciplines. The Department continues a major expansion of the faculty as part of a 5-year strategic plan.
We seek outstanding, creative investigators in any area of virology.
The successful candidate will develop or have created a vibrant, externally funded research program, participate in graduate-level teaching, and recruit and mentor outstanding trainees.
Expected SalaryAnnual salary range is $110,000 - $230,000 and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Required QualificationsPh.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D.
Preferred QualificationsPh.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. in the biomedical sciences or a related field of study.
