Job DescriptionThe Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville invites applications for an adult licensed psychologist. This full‑time faculty position at the non‑tenure accruing level of Assistant, Associate or full Professor entails outpatient provision of evidence‑based assessment and treatment of adults (cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy, trauma‑informed, interpersonal therapy, etc.) and/or psychological testing. Successful candidates must be committed to working with diverse adult community populations.
Preferred candidates have experience providing psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups, grant writing and teaching. Expertise at the doctoral level would be beneficial for patients and training programs. The position will be an integral part of our developing psychology post‑doctoral fellowship program. Candidates should also be able to participate in training and education for the department’s general psychiatry residency and post‑doctoral fellowship programs and contribute to diversity, scholarship, teaching and/or service.
The person filling this position will maintain a therapy caseload, provide clinical supervision and mentoring to master’s‑level therapists and therapists in training (LMHC or social work interns), and engage in opportunities for clinical research, supervision and teaching in associated residency/internship programs.

Required QualificationsPhD and licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in Florida.
Preferred QualificationsBE/BC is preferred.
